The Day is Almost Here

So Mason's surgery is on Friday and I'm SO nervous. Last week I completely shutdown and didn't do anything around the house. I slept a lot and was pretty down thinking too much about the surgery and aftermath. This week I've kept myself busy so I don't think about it so much and have tried to prepare myself as much as possible. I'm scared though and hope everything goes smoothly.

Please keep us (especially Mason) in your prayers. He's my sweet boy and I can't imagine my life without him. He's brought me so much joy and I love him so very much.

I'm assuming the above picture was taken by Jayni. I found Mason with camera in hand one day last month and put it away. When I downloaded pictures onto my computer a few weeks later, I found pictures of Mason and lots of shots around the room.

I know it's hard not to worry about your child. I know everything will be fine and he'll be back to his old self in just a few days. And with a brand new belly button! How exciting is that! Make sure you take pictures of the before and after! I love you and your my favorite daughter, too! oxoxox

So cute that Jayni took the pic of Mason. Milo asked me yesterday why I was taking photos of the living room. Uh not me, Dane had the camera, ha! Maybe that's a 5 yr old thing?

When Nathan had his adenoids out (he had just barely turned 3 so he was a little older than Mason) it was really hard to let them take him away from me. But it was so fast, I didn't have much time to worry and that was nice. I hope you get the same thing. We'll be thinking of you and keeping you in our prayers. Love you.

So I keep meaning to comment on your profile picture. You are one hot mama! It's a really good picture of you! I really really like your hair, did you cut it different?

I hope that everything does turn out fine w/the surgery. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
I know this isn't the same, but when Dom was 15 mo old he got tubes in his ears and I was terrified since he was going under amnesia. Just be calm and be there for your son, as I'm sure you always are.
GOod luck!

You know you're going to have to post again to let us all know how Mason is doing, right... He and you will definitely be in our prayers.
